a beautiful abode is a new venture for lead designer Briana O'Dea. After spending the last 17 years in Marketing for a multi-billion dollar technology company where she has designed strategy for beautiful digital experiences, built global customer campaigns and developed organizational process design, she is turning her eye to the most universal of all human spaces : the home.
The dream for a beautiful abode started many years ago when Briana O’Dea used to spend all of her weekends going to open houses with her mother. She loved seeing all the different types of spaces that people could create within their homes - taking the blank canvas of an empty room an magically transforming it into a myriad of possibilities based on your style preferences, color + fabric choices, furniture arrangement and lifestyle needs. She would experiment in her own small spaces - various bedrooms at home, in college, city apartments - to see how she could make her spaces be functional, look beautiful, feel unique and represent personality and style.
While spending the last 17 years in the corporate world, this passion for interior design never waned. Briana has fully re-designed two homes for herself and her family along with various projects for friends and family. After earning a minor degree in all things HGTV, Magnolia Network and several shelves of interior design books, she took steps to gain some formal training through courses. Between this and drawing on professional experience of extensive client and project management, Briana is so excited to start bringing her experience and skills to you. She takes a collaborative approach truly listening to understand your goals, needs as well as how you want a space to feel and will spend the time to educate and inform you on reasons by her recommendations and helping you to really envision what spaces can look like. The goal is always to ensure alignment, positivity and excitement as we move forward together on projects!
Home to Briana is in the great town of Littleton, Massachusetts with her two small children who make her laugh every day, a fantastic husband who has supported her dreams from day one, and two cats that make their space just a bit more cozy and furry. Her personal home style tends to be neutral bases with lots of natural elements to bring in nature as well as pops of color for contrast and décor items that look beautiful but also have meaning.
For Briana, our homes are our sanctuary, our sacred spaces to spend time with the people and on activities that mean the most to us and we need to ensure that the rooms we design match those energies. Her goal in working with you is to help you bring this into your own homes, acting as a guide to bring to life the visions of how you want to feel and be in your home.
